Tim Keel, Coach

Cory is  passionate about one main thing, HELPING OTHERS! He has been in the fitness industry for over 5 years now and credits crossfit and his healthy lifestyle for his growth as an individual and a coach. He prides himself in being able to take someone completely new to the sport, and put them at ease to achieve whatever their fitness goals may be. Coffee is his guilty pleasure, especially local coffee. You'll often see him nursing a mug of thou mayest brewed java while coaching the morning wod. 

Mike Watson, Owner/Coach

Tim has been doing CrossFit for three years and just recently completed the Level 1 Coaches Training course. After years of distance running, swimming, and assorted other physical endeavors, Tim came to Brookside CrossFit mostly to support his wife, Mimi—and in doing so, found a cure for a persistent, severe lower back problem. He's been hooked ever since! When he isn’t coaching, Tim is at BSCF working out. Tim has three adult kids, two of whom are married, and most of whom have worked out with him at BSCF over the last three years. Tim loves seeing people experience transformation by making the decision to regularly show up, share themselves, and take risks.

I started wrestling before I can remember. With a dad as a high school coach until I was 11 it was just what you did. I started wieght training in 6th grade and have continued to do so ever since. In 2011 I graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science, in 2015 I started Aletheia Training, and accomplished my Crossfit Level 1 course in July of 2018. Aside from wrestling and cross training, I have ran two half marathons and one full marathon. 


When not at the gym you can find me working as a residential realtor around Kansas City. I enjoy spending as much time in the outdoors as I can and traveling anywhere my budget and calendar will allow for. Guilty pleasure... lets leave it at fried foods and sweets, because I'm proud to be a Belieber. 



Tyler St. Louis, Coach

Mike is 50 years young and has been doing Crossfit for 12 years; coaching for 4 of those 12. He doesn't eat much in the way of processed foods although he will occasionally indulge in a decadent dessert. His favorite meal of the day is breakfast which is almost always a green smoothie weighing in at about 800-900 calories. his hobby, surprise, surprise, is fitness of all kinds; including biking and hiking. He loves to camp and, of course, Crossfit. His favorite thing about Crossfit is seeing other people embrace the challenge and break through physical and mental barriers using the Crossfit program.

Josiah is a coach at Brookside Crossfit. He's been a crossfit athlete for over four years, but He received his l1 crossfit certification and in 2017 started his coaching career with us. He is a patient coach with an emphasis on safety and correct movement. his welcoming and calm demeanor exemplifies Brookside Crossfit. His favorite snack is an apple with peanut butter, and when he isn't at the box coaching your classes you can find him hiking, biking, watching vine compilations, or performing in his new wave band: ghost chant.
